Martians and Madness

About

M.W. Grffith

My name is M.W. Griffith.  I’m a young writer from Murfreesboro, TN.  Well, kind of young.  I’m twenty-nine.  Like the great Harrison Ford once declared, It’s not the years, it’s the mileage.

I have written six science fiction novels, a moderate amount of short stories, and a few articles for news papers.  If you’re quite clever, then you might have seen samples of my work posted on the Elfwood website.

I have a lovely wife, Michelle, who supports my creative insanity with the utmost patience.  Also, my newfound joy in life came in an unexpected circumstance: My wonderful daughter, Christa, who manages to occupy most of my days with her glorious antics.

Endless late night conversations with my wife allow me to delve deeply into the uncharted realms of my imagination, and explore multiple dimensions of my work that would otherwise strand me on the dreadful path of the linear.

BTW DO you have any short stories or do you mainly write novels?

    • I do have some short stories, but mainly I write novels. The short story Earthly Delight, written a long, long time ago, is the only piece I have placed online. As a general rule, I do not publish any of my work online unless it was written way back when I was a kid. Of course, my writing capabilities have improved immensely since then, and I don’t feel comfortable placing them online unless it’s published on an ezine. If anyone wants to read those ancient stories and poems, please visit my elfwood page.

hey, you’re 59% done on your novel. I guess you’re back in the writing swing of things, eh?

  3. Well, things have certainly settled down around here. There aren’t many things that absolutely demand my attention, so I’ve been working with the novel as much as possible. Thank you for noticing, dear wife! Love ya!
