“Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia.”  ~E.L. Doctorow

“The two most engaging powers of an author are to make new things familiar and familiar things new.”  ~Samuel Johnson

“Sit down, and put down everything that comes into your head and then you’re a writer.  But an author is one who can judge his own stuff’s worth, without pity, and destroy most of it.”  ~Colette, Casual Chance, 1964

“When you are describing,
A shape, or sound, or tint;
Don’t state the matter plainly,
But put it in a hint;
And learn to look at all things,
With a sort of mental squint.”
~Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (Lewis Carroll)

“To me, the greatest pleasure of writing is not what it’s about, but the inner music the words make.”  ~Truman Capote, McCall’s, November 1967

  3. Yeah, I can’t believe they are making toy movies now. What’s next, Strawberry Shortcake? I never saw the first chipmonks and I don’t plan on seeing the 2nd.

  9. Hi, this looks like a good blog. I like the idea of having a static front with the blog on a different page.

    • I like the splash page as well, however, I mainly enjoy the conversations and talkbacks in the posts section. I rarely even look at this splash page, tbh.

  13. Hello and thank God for other christian science fiction novelist! I look forward to investigating your work. I have recently released Fighting with Angels and I’m dabbling around with the many different ways to promote it. I noticed your comment on the ‘Beware of science fiction’ blog and I just wanted to give you an internet high-five…
